Saw Conan O’Brien together with an adoring crowd of 2800 Team-Coco faithfuls last night as an end to a perfect Seattle day. Am a huge fan, but didn’t really know what to expect – even Conan kidded about his lack of marketable skills(and then did his string dance to prove his point.)

All the usual elements were there - his characteristic self deprecating humor(lack of ass), masturbating bear(now a panda for legal reasons), Triumph the insult comic dog, Walker Texas Ranger clips, his banter with Andy Richter and LaBamba, and lots & lots of singing. He also had a special guest in form of Dave Matthews – who was just incredible. The crowd roared for just about whatever he did - occasionally it was more for the love for him than for the actual bit.

Like me, there were a lot of fans in the crowd who wished he spent more time talking about what he has been doing.. his challenges staying home, maybe taking his kids to soccer practice, and even some humorous anecdotes of his 17 yrs with his previous employer.

But he was more than thankful of the support – verbally and finally during his encore singing of “Fourty Days” with the crowd. Went home satisfied, but craving for more…
